Oh those early days. How sweet. How quaint. Here the groundwork was laid. When it was only me, migraines, and the vastness of time. (That loneliness and brokenness is how a book gets born.)
Then my sweet girls, Poppet and Moxie, joined the family. They love to sit on the things, especially the important things. Even now a cat is sitting on my notebook and 2 inches from my laptop. The struggles ;)
Writing in the quiet evening. With only the light of the tv (probably on repeats of the office) to illuminate. The baby who really would prefer to just sleep in our arms is doing what she does best. And I try to work around her. Somehow it all gets done?
All illusion of productivity ends here. Nothing is being accomplished besides snuggling. And that’s okay, I guess. :)
And here is some beautiful photos from those seasons. Each so sweet.
Thanks for reading, my friends.
Remember to let it make you kind, whatever it is. And if you can let it make you prolific. (I’m three books in so far and one on the way lol) I think I got some of my own back from my pain.
